Si nunca ha metido la cabeza bajo el agua el Discover Scuba Dive es exactamente lo que usted necesita. Su instructor de buceo le dará una breve explicación de las reglas básicas para una inmersión fácil y segura, además de familiarizarle con el equipo. Después siguen unos pocos ejercicios en aguas poco profundas donde aprenderá como manejar el equipo de buceo. Para posteriormente salir en su primera inmersión desde un barco a una profundidad máxima de 12m (40ft) y experimentará el impresionante mundo submarino.

Teoría de Buceo (40 minutos a 1 hora)
Comenzaremos con una introducción a los conceptos básicos del buceo según los estándares de PADI. Aquí aprenderás sobre el equipo que usarás y las señales manuales que emplearemos bajo el agua. No te preocupes, ¡estamos aquí para responder todas tus preguntas!
Práctica en Aguas Poco Profundas (40 a 45 minutos)
Luego, pasaremos a la parte práctica en aguas poco profundas. Aquí harás tus primeras respiraciones bajo el agua y practicarás habilidades básicas como el control de flotabilidad y la limpieza de la máscara y el regulador. Nos tomamos el tiempo necesario para que te sientas cómodo y seguro.
Primera Inmersión en el Mar (Máximo 60 minutos)
Ahora viene la parte emocionante: tu primera inmersión en el mar. Disfrutarás de hasta 60 minutos explorando un nuevo mundo bajo el agua. La profundidad máxima será de 12 metros, y estaremos contigo en cada paso del camino para asegurarnos de que tengas una experiencia increíble.
Opción de una Segunda Inmersión
Si te quedas con ganas de más, ¡puedes optar por una segunda inmersión el mismo día! Será otra oportunidad para seguir explorando y disfrutando del buceo.
De vuelta a tu Hotel o Alojamiento
Al finalizar, te llevaremos de vuelta a tu hotel o alojamiento para que puedas relajarte y compartir tu increíble día de buceo.

David took me through the deep and photography dives, Sarah guided me on Nitrox, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Navigation, and Eduardo led me on the incredible bull shark dive. Being in the hospitality sector ourselves, we understand the importance of going the extra mile for customers and the team at Blue Experience do that... and some! We had 8 amazing dives with them last week around the reefs at Akumal, and when we said we fancied a night dive and a wreck dive, they picked us from the hotel and chauffeured us to the C-56-gun boat wreck at Puerto Morelos. Eduardo and Sarah accommodated us with a smile and total professionalism. Put simply, if you are fancy recreational dives on your vacation or to take your first steps underwater with PADI courses in Mexico, we cannot recommend Blue Experience highly enough. Look no further.

It’s rare to find a company with 100% 5 star reviews, but this dive company absolutely deserves it! If you’re looking for a friendly, small group diving around Akumal Bay (The Turtle Place) look no further than Blue Experience Diving! I had 3 days of diving with Sarah and Eduardo, the owners. During the 4 open water dives in Akumal we saw 9 turtles, and a lot of beautiful coral, fish and very clear blue water. The third day was a 2 tank cenote cavern dive at Dos Ojos, the two eyes. The second of which surfaces in the bat cave! This was a particularly unique experience, and less scary than it sounds. I was stayed at the Grand Sirenis, and they gave me a lift to Akumal each day where they rent the boat and pilot to access the local reefs. They typically offer 2 dives per day, either 8:30 & 10:30 or 10:30 and 12:30. Full training is offered in multiple languages, between the instructors I believe they can cover Spanish, English, German and French. See my photos for some examples of the scenery. He has the timing down so we were first in, on our surface interval when the next gaggle of divers went through, and had the line all to ourselves again for the second dive. The equipment I rented was in great shape and he did a thorough job with the dive brief. I felt comfortable and prepared. Sarah and Eduardo were professional and easy to communicate with. I’d absolutely dive with them again! Added bonus: they have a very fluffy friendly doggy I met in the dive shop ☺️

Excellent experience from start to finish, far better than the diving school based in the hotel I was staying at just around the corner from Blue Experience shop.
The staff at blue experience diving were genuinely friendly, helpful and professional, and multi lingual and definitely not pushy for sigh up. I was on a PADI open water divers course with another person,
so a 2 to 1 ratio the dive instructor made us both feel at ease, and managing both of our different levels of ability, on the last dive we was joined by 2 other divers, but because of the weather we was unable to dive at sea so we was taken to a cenote (fresh water around the root systes of the mangroves) a very beautiful place to dive and a different experience to being at sea.
I left having passed my course and a massive sense of achievement.
Thanks to all the great staff there it was brilliant and you made it a awesome experience.

What we liked the most is that Akumal Beach is a small town without the touristy craziness of Playa or Cozumel, so finding a very well established local operation like this one in Akumal is perfect.
