Blue Experience has been operating here in Akumal for over 6 years now. Tim & Kathrin took over the running of the business in early 2011 and along with their highly knowledgeable, multi-lingual team of fully qualified PADI instructors and Dive Masters are waiting to share the wonders of the oceans and Cenotes with you on your vacation to Akumal.
Blue Experience are situated right in the heart of the Riviera Maya at the Be-Live Resort, Akumal, approximately half way between the busy town of Playa Del Carmen and the Mayan ruins of Tulum, about 1 ½ hours south of Cancun airport.
Welcome to what is considered to be the second longest Barrier reef in the world here at Akumal. A huge variety of sea life and varied underwater sceneries await you on the daily “2 tank” dives with Blue Experience. From 10-12m (35-45ft) down to 25-30m (80-100ft) there are many canyons and large coral formations, idea for finding turtles, morays, lion fish and much much more!!.
Akumal is blessed with a wonderful ocean reef, BUT even more amazing are the Mexican Cenotes right here on our doorstep. These freshwater underground caverns allow all certified divers access to some truly spectacular scenery!!
Blue Experience offer a wide variety of diving courses so you can live the dream and Scuba Dive in the Mexican Caribbean. Courses can be as short as a ½ day so you can join in this amazing adventure. If you are over 8 years old then come on and “take the plunge”. See what’s waiting for you below the surface!!!
